SMR was paged to assist Waterbury Backcountry in search for a missing person at Waterbury State Park. Subject had been missing since 13:00. Responded to station, but call canceled before as the subject was located.

A hiking party just below the summit of the Stowe Pinnacle called to request assistance for one of their members who was experiencing severe abdominal pain. The team responded and with assistance from Waterbury Backcountry evacuated the subject to Stowe Rescue for transport.

Waterbury Backcountry Rescue requested mutual aid support for a female hiker on Camel's Hump who had fallen and was requesting assistance. The subject was approximately 1.5 miles up the Monroe Trail. The subject was splinted, packaged, and evacuated without further incident.
August 9, 2010
A 911 call was received reporting a female subject with a non-weight bearing ankle injury just below the summit of the Stowe Pinnacle. A paramedic from Stowe Rescue responded along with SMR team members. Additional assistance was requested from Waterbury Backcountry and Colchester Technical Rescue. The leg injury was stabilized and the subject was carried out by litter where they were transported by Stowe Rescue ambulance.

A 10 year old male injured his left ankle while hiking on the Rock Garden Trail located on the West side of Mount Mansfield approximately 100 meters from the junction with the Maple Ridge Trail. The subject's injured ankle was wrapped, splinted with SAM split and he was packaged in sleeping bag and placed in litter. Underhill/Jericho Fire and Rescue, Colchester Tech. and Stowe Mountain Rescue carried thepatient in litter down the Maple Ridge Trail to the CCC Road to a waiting "Gator". The evacuation included numerous low angle, belayed lowers over and down rock ledges. Cambridge Fire Department assisted toward the end of the evacuation with additional manpower.
