Stowe Mountain Rescue responded to a report of 66 year old male with a hip injury at Russell Knoll, Trapp Family Lodge (TFL) ski area.
Two SMR snowmobiles and ATV with rescue boggan responded.
Patient was found on the ground covered with blankets, positioned on his right hip. Patient was loaded into Cascade litter, with hypothermia bag and vacuum mattress, then transported via rescue boggan back to the main parking lot where Stowe Rescue transported the patient to Copley hospital.
