Stowe Mountain Rescue responded to a snow-mobile accident on the Woodard Trail near Little River State Park in Waterbury.
38-year old male subject (driver) collided with a tree on the edge of the snowmobile trail and was was experiencing chest pain from the accident and had difficulty breathing. SMR responded with two snowmobiles plus the boggan. The subject was packaged with the vacuum mattress and thermal bag into a litter and transported down the trailhead in the boggan. Subject was then transferred to Waterbury Rescue for transport to a hospital.
