Richmond Back Country Rescue requested assistant with an experienced Long Trail section hiker experiencing a medical emergency on the Long Trail on Camel's Hump. The man hiked to Monclair Glen Lodge where he was met by a team of rescuers. He was evaluated and it was determined that his weakness, loss of balance, headache and muscle cramping was the result of a long-term Magnesium deficiency. The man was able to hike out with assistance and was transported to the Medical Center by Richmond Rescue.
