Stowe Mountain Rescue


A 62 year old woman was hiking down the steps towards the lower pool at Bingham Falls with her husband when she slipped and injured her right angle.  She heard a "snap" and was unable to bear weight on the injury.  Stowe Police Department were on scene and assessed the woman. Stowe Mountain Rescue assessed the injury, splinted the woman's ankle, and placed her on a litter.  They then evacuated the woman in the litter without incident to the trailhead where Waterbury Ambulance took over care of the patient.
