Stowe Mountain Rescue was called to Assist Cambridge Fire Department with the evacuation of an injured swimmer in the Brewster River in Jeffersonville.  Upon arrival on scene, Jericho Fire Department and Cambridge Fire Department had the swimmer in a litter and had rigged haul system to raise him out of the river.  He was hauled out of swimming hole up a small rock face to the woods, then lowered down the slope on the side of the rock.  He was then carried across the river to the waiting four wheeler & rescue boggan for further evacuation to Cambridge Rescue Squad.
