Two 16 year old male skiers loaded the Quad at Stowe Mountain Resort around noon and hiked up across the ridge of Mt. Mansfield. They started down but became stranded on a steep cliff face and called for help.

Mt. Mansfield Ski Patrol was able to see them from the ski trails and identified their location.  Team members located the subjects in deep, difficult snow, set up an anchor, and repelled the subjects down a difficult cliff face covered in brush and snow.  The whole team then hiked back to back up to the Cliff House, delivered the subjects to their parents and rode the Gondola back down.
