The subject was reached by a hasty team at 13:20 and evaluated, and found to have an isolated right ankle injury with significant swelling and point tenderness. The litter arrived at the patient approximately an hour later and the patient was splinted, packaged and started on the long carry out to the trailhead which was reached at approximately 17:30. The subject was transported to Copley Hospital by Stowe Rescue.
