We do not charge for our services; we believe it is far better for a person in distress to make a 9-1-1 call and get the help they need without the added stress of wondering how to pay for services.
Our team receives basic funding from the Town of Stowe to provide most essential equipment such as ropes, climbing gear, vehicles and operating supplies.
We are often able to attend advanced training (such as technical rope rescue, swift-water training or medical training classes) or purchase specialized equipment (swift water and ice suits) through the support of people we have helped rescue, their friends and families, and others who generously choose to support our mission.
